My Head is Reeling With the Motion

I’ve got several new updates for you from Murdland. This is such exciting stuff my poor head is reeling with it.

Voice from Another Room: …it’s probably just the gin…

Nevermind smart guy!

Anyway, yeah, I’d like to tell you about a few of the things I’ve been up to. And this is probably the best place to spill it all at once.

So shake up the classic cocktail of your choice…

Feed the cat now, because you’ll forget all about it once I get started…

Take a firm grip on your chair and make sure your shoes are safely tied…

Once you start reading, there’s no turning back.

Quality Entertainment

I’ve added a couple new media outlets I think you’ll really enjoy.

NEW Facebook author page

I’ve already crammed the Facebook page with a bunch of old travel photos that I’ve never published anywhere before. And I uploaded an album from the Vagabond Dreams Days.

If you’re curious about the scenery from my book—and what those places looked like back then—please pop by the page. And please be sure to give it a LIKE.

NEW Youtube channel

I’ve already uploaded several videos to the new Youtube page, including two of me reading passages from the book.

Videos from me have been few and far between. But that’s changing. A flip cam is on its way to my island, and it’ll come with me on all my trips. Hell, it might even stay in my pocket around the house, just in case I see something interesting to share [Note to self: pockets required—start wearing pants].

This is quality entertainment the entire family can enjoy! Grandma and grandpa will love it too. Well, apart from the occasional swearing. But you can pretend that didn’t happen and just blame it on their hearing aids.

*ahem* moving on…

Vagabond Dreams—The Reviews Are In!

The first reviews are coming in, and so far Vagabond Dreams is netting 5 stars.

Thanks very much to those who took the time to post a review. I really appreciate it, and it sure helps spread the word about my book.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, click over to this page to learn more.

Please pass along the link to everyone you know. You can also read the first several pages by visiting Amazon and clicking on “search inside this book.”

Vagabond Dreams is the story of that pivotal first journey. The first time I set out alone, to a place where I didn’t speak the language and no one knew me. I was searching for… what? A purpose? A truth? Something even I had no clear idea of…?

It took 10 years to write this book. A decade of careful editing and rewriting to make sure every sentence and every word was exactly as it should be. I hope you enjoy it. And I hope you find your own truth within its pages.

NEW Personal Freedom Ebook

And as if Vagabond Dreams weren’t enough to make you quit your job, abandon your family and go on the road…

I’ve also just released an ebook called Personal Freedom: How to Create the Life of Your Dreams.

It contains everything I know about lifestyle design. I also included exercises with each chapter to help you figure out exactly what you want in life—and how to get it.

Know what the best part is?

What’s NOT in the book. I cut out all the dead ends, all the experiments that didn’t work, all the miserable frustrating struggles I went through, and two decades of trial and error.

There are no pointless diversions or longwinded stories.

It’s clear and concise. And it gives you exactly what worked for me. Not just the stuff that kinda worked, but the strategies and tactics that hit home runs.

My friends are always telling me how envious they are of my lifestyle. Well I’m convinced anyone can create the life of their dreams. And this book will teach you how.

In the meantime, I have a couple trips to prepare for. I’m also working on a new video blog, so stay tuned to this page over the next couple days. You won’t want to miss it.

Thank you as always for supporting my work, for reading my stuff, and for taking your own meaningful journeys to marginal places.

Safe travels!
