The word is finally getting out

T

Personal Landscapes seems to be growing a following.

The word is spreading slowly but surely…

An unbending onslaught of babble about books.

A cacophony of cultured conversation.

Voice from another room: This tiresome trireme of tomfoolery isn’t helping.

Fine. Be like that.

I just wanted to let you know the podcast has been added to this carefully curated list over at Nomad Flag ==> The Best Travel Podcasts of 2022

They said:

“If you love to travel and are interested in reading about the experiences of others, or if you’re a writer yourself looking for some inspiration, then this podcast by Ryan Murdock is just what you need. The depth of Ryan’s knowledge of notable authors in the genre is impressive. And he seems to have read all the travel books.”

If you haven’t checked out an episode yet, what are you waiting for? Another lockdown?

Thank you to everyone who has helped spread the word by recommending Personal Landscapes to their friends, relatives and bitter enemies.

I can never tell if anyone else will find these conversations interesting. I only know whether I’ve enjoyed talking to an author.

So it’s helpful to get feedback from careful listeners.

I just wanted to promote interesting books, and talk with the writers I’d love to have a beer with.

I never expected to have a conversation with Dervla Murphy. What a way to end the year.

 There’s more to come.

Thanks for listening.
